Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu will on Monday inaugurate the PBAT-KOH Lagos Central Campaign Headquarters on Lagos Island as political activities gather momentum ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The facility is expected to serve as a coordination centre for political engagement, grassroots mobilisation and campaign planning in support of President Bola Tinubu and Lagos State Deputy Governor Obafemi Hamzat.

Bolaji Yusuf, administrator of the campaign headquarters, disclosed this on Sunday, explaining that the centre would provide a meeting point for party leaders, political stakeholders, community representatives, youth groups and women supporters.

According to him, the facility is designed to strengthen political coordination across the Lagos Central Senatorial District and bring together supporters working towards shared political objectives.

Yusuf said the effectiveness of the headquarters would ultimately depend on how well it facilitates engagement and supports political activities across the district.

“The venue will function as a central meeting point for party leaders, political stakeholders, community representatives, youth groups, and women supporters,” he said.

He added that the establishment of the centre represented an investment in party administration and grassroots connectivity, describing it as the first facility of its kind on Lagos Island.

Yusuf also highlighted the transformation of the building from an unfinished structure into a completed facility, saying the development reflected the importance of translating political ideas into tangible outcomes.

He said purposeful action, consistency and dedication were necessary to establish an effective political structure capable of serving communities across the senatorial district.

The administrator noted that the headquarters would provide a base for coordinating strategies and aligning the activities of All Progressives Congress (APC) members working towards common political goals.

Senior political figures expected at Monday’s inauguration include Lagos State Deputy Governor Kadri Obafemi Hamzat and the APC deputy governorship candidate, Damilola Sonayon-James.

APC candidates contesting elective positions in Lagos Central are also expected to attend, alongside party officials, campaign coordinators and other political stakeholders.
