Popular hip-hop singer Habeeb Badmus, also known as Portable, has alleged he was “robbed” of victory following his first celebrity boxing defeat at the hands of skit maker Carter Efe.
The “Chaos in the Ring 4” bout, held in the early hours of Saturday at the Balmoral Hall in Victoria Island, Lagos, ended in a unanimous decision for Efe.
All three judges scored the contest 27–30 in favour of the comedian.
During a live Instagram broadcast following the match, Portable expressed intense frustration, claiming the decision was biased.
He argued that Efe’s height and reach were used unfairly during the exchanges, alleging that the judges ignored his own punches.
“I was robbed,” Portable stated. He also demanded N200 million in streaming revenue from the event organisers, warning of potential trouble if the payment is not settled.
Despite the loss, which ended his undefeated streak in the ring, the singer noted that his priorities remain with his family.
He revealed that his wife recently gave birth to a baby boy and said he values his newborn more than any championship belt.
Portable’s recent loss marks a setback in a rising celebrity boxing career.
He previously secured a high-profile win against Nollywood actor Charles Okocha in December 2023 and recorded a technical knockout victory over Speed Darlington in 2025.
Throughout the three-round fight, Efe utilised his physical advantages to control the pace, landing cleaner punches and maintaining composure to secure the victory.
