Hon. Abiola Falayajo, a mental health expert and community leader, has called on Osun State indigenes living abroad to actively support the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO).

Speaking in London, United Kingdom, Falayajo emphasized the strategic role the diaspora plays in shaping political outcomes.

He urged Osun indigenes in the diaspora to move beyond passive observation and take deliberate steps to mobilize support for the APC candidate by engaging their networks across all local government areas in the state.

“Elections are no longer won on the strength of candidates alone, but on the collective effort of committed supporters,” Falayajo stated, noting that the diaspora occupies a unique position of influence and must leverage its connections to ensure the emergence of effective leadership in Osun State.

The Bobadamoran of Ipetu-Ijesha Kingdom further encouraged stakeholders abroad to maintain consistent communication with their families at home.

He advised them to educate their loved ones on the importance of political participation and to encourage an overwhelming vote for the APC during the election scheduled for August 15, 2026.

Falayajo described Oyebamiji as a competent, experienced, and forward-thinking leader with the vision necessary to drive sustainable development.

He expressed confidence that Oyebamiji’s administration would foster economic growth, improve infrastructure, and enhance general welfare within the state.

Additionally, Falayajo commended the APC leadership for the appointment of Hon. Oluwole Oke as the Director-General of the gubernatorial campaign.

According to him, the move is timely and strategic, noting that Oke’s political acumen and grassroots connections would significantly strengthen the campaign’s structure.

Concluding his remarks, Falayajo called for unity among all well-meaning indigenes to support the APC candidate, citing the pursuit of peace, stability, and long-term development for Osun State.
