Governor Seyi Makinde has approved the appointment of Mrs Adenike Ayobami Fasina as the new Head of the Oyo State Civil and Public Service following the retirement of Mrs Olubunmi Olufunke Oni, mni.
Fasina, an indigene of Eruwa in Oyo State, joined the state civil service in 2000 and steadily rose through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Finance.
Before her latest appointment, she built a reputation within the state bureaucracy through years of administrative and financial management experience.
She is also a member of the National Institute (mni) and has received the Oyo State Merit and Productivity Award on two occasions.
Her appointment is expected to strengthen the administration and coordination of the state civil service.
