The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has opened a portal for members of the public to apply for positions as election officials in the forthcoming governorship election in Ekiti State.
The offer was posted on the Commission’s X (formerly Twitter) official handle on Sunday.
Available positions include Supervisory Presiding Officers (SPOs), Presiding Officers (POs), Assistant Presiding Officers (APOs), Registration Area Tech Support Staff (RATECHSS), and RAC managers.
While stipulating the criteria for each post, the Commission directed eligible candidates, who must be residents of the state, to apply via https://pres.inecnigeria.org between April 25 and May 18, 2026.
According to the INEC timetable, the Ekiti State governorship election will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2026.
