The All Progressives Congress (APC) has endorsed 14 candidates to fly the party’s flag in the House of Representatives elections across Oyo State in the 2027 general elections.
Among those endorsed are former members of the House of Representatives, Folake Olunloyo-Osinowo and Odebunmi Olusegun Dokun, popularly known as Bunvic, alongside other prominent party figures.
The list is contained in a document titled “Collection of INEC Form – House of Representatives, Oyo State”, which includes the names of the candidates, their respective federal constituencies, phone numbers, dates and signatures.
The endorsed candidates are Adeyemi Akeem Adeniyi for Atisbo/Saki East/Saki West Federal Constituency; Kareem Tajudeen Abisodun for Saki West/Saki East/Atisbo Federal Constituency; Akinola Akinlabi for Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency; Odebunmi Olusegun Dokun for Ogbomoso North/Ogbomoso South/Oriire Federal Constituency; Oladele Olatunbosun George for Irepo/Oorelope/Olorunsogo Federal Constituency; Olamijuwonlo Alao-Akala for Ogbomoso North/Ogbomoso South/Oriire Federal Constituency; Yusuf Asimiyu Osuolale for Ibarapa Central/Ibarapa North Federal Constituency; Oladimeji Sarafa Olajide for Ibadan North-East/Ibadan South-East Federal Constituency; Iyiola Ibrahim Olayode for Ibadan North-West/Ibadan South-West Federal Constituency; Umar Farouk Arisekola-Alao for Ibadan North Federal Constituency; Folake Olunloyo-Osinowo for Ibadan South-West/Ibadan North-West Federal Constituency; Yusuf Saheed Adejare for Kajola/Iwajowa/Itesiwaju Federal Constituency; Tolulope Akande-Sadipe for Oluyole Federal Constituency; and Wasiu Olayisoye for Lagelu/Akinyele Federal Constituency.
According to the document, the candidates have completed the collection of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) nomination forms as part of the party’s preparations for the 2027 general elections.
The APC is expected to conclude the remaining stages of its internal nomination process in line with the electoral timetable ahead of the polls.
