The governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, Sharafadeen Alli, has congratulated former Oyo State First Lady, Florence Ajimobi, following her presentation of her Copie d’Usage to the Chief of Protocol of the Republic of Austria.
In a statement issued on Tuesday in Ibadan, Alli described the development as a major diplomatic achievement that reflects positively on both Oyo State and Nigeria.
Florence Ajimobi formally presented her Copie d’Usage to Maximilian Hennig on Monday, July 6, 2026, a key diplomatic step preceding the commencement of her official assignment in Austria.
According to Alli, the diplomatic milestone is a testament to Ajimobi’s longstanding record of integrity, commitment to public service and exemplary leadership.
He praised the former first lady, who is the widow of the late former Oyo State Governor, Abiola Ajimobi, for consistently promoting excellence, compassion and purposeful leadership throughout her years in public life.
The senator, who represents Oyo South Senatorial District in the National Assembly, said Ajimobi has continued to inspire women and emerging leaders through her resilience, humility and dedication to humanitarian service.
