Senator Sharafadeen Alli, the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Oyo State, has celebrated Jubril Dotun Sanusi on his 58th birthday, describing the Ibadan high chief as a committed philanthropist and community leader.
Alli, in a congratulatory message, said Sanusi’s contributions to humanity and community development had earned him recognition beyond his professional career as an engineer and businessman.
Sanusi, who is the Okanlomo Oodua and Gbonka of Ibadanland, marks his 58th birthday on Saturday, October 17, 2026.
Other well-wishers have also described the occasion as an opportunity to acknowledge his philanthropic activities and leadership roles.
Alli said Sanusi’s life demonstrated the value of generosity, purposeful leadership and service to society, particularly through his efforts to support people and contribute to community initiatives.
According to him, Sanusi’s influence extends beyond his professional accomplishments, with his involvement in community development and support for less-privileged members of society providing an example of how individuals can use their resources and influence to address social challenges.
The APC candidate said the traditional titles conferred on Sanusi also reflected the recognition of his leadership and commitment to the development of his people.
He urged the celebrant to sustain his philanthropic engagements, noting that influence should be measured not only by positions held or titles acquired but also by the positive difference made in the lives of others.
“Alli said Nigeria needs more citizens who combine professional excellence with compassion, patriotism and a willingness to contribute to the common good.”
He added that Sanusi’s birthday should serve as an opportunity for renewed commitment to community service, youth empowerment and initiatives capable of expanding opportunities for vulnerable members of society.
Alli also encouraged the celebrant to continue supporting causes that promote the development of Ibadanland, Oyo State and Nigeria.
While wishing Sanusi continued success, the APC governorship candidate prayed for renewed strength, wisdom, sound health and greater accomplishments for the celebrant.
He expressed hope that Sanusi’s 58th year would bring fresh opportunities for him to serve humanity and contribute to peace, development and prosperity across Ibadanland and Oyo State.
