The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has released deployment details for prospective corps members participating in the 2026 Batch C Stream I orientation exercise.
The scheme announced the development hours ago through a postcard shared on its verified WhatsApp Channel, informing prospective corps members that deployment for the new batch had been released.
The announcement comes as thousands of Nigerian graduates prepare to begin their mandatory one-year national service.
According to the NYSC mobilisation timetable, deployment and call-up letter printing were scheduled for September 26 to 28, ahead of the commencement of the orientation exercise.
Prospective corps members are expected to check their NYSC dashboards for their deployment details and call-up letters.
Orientation camp opens September 30
NYSC has fixed Wednesday, September 30, for the commencement of the 2026 Batch C Stream I orientation course.
The three-week exercise will end on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, across the 36 states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory.
Registration at orientation camps is scheduled to begin on September 30 and close on Friday, October 2, while the swearing-in ceremony will hold on October 2.
NYSC Director-General, Brigadier General Olakunle Nafiu, has advised prospective corps members to travel safely and avoid night journeys while proceeding to their respective orientation camps.
The scheme also urged them to board vehicles at designated motor parks.

Call-up letters contain essential information, including the state of deployment, orientation camp address and reporting instructions.
