The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Oyo State Council, has congratulated Mrs. Jadesola Ajibola on her appointment as General Manager of Champion 90.7 FM, Lagos.
The Council described the appointment as a well-deserved recognition of Ajibola’s professionalism, competence and contributions to Nigeria’s broadcasting industry.
In a statement jointly signed by the Council’s Chairman, Akeem Abas, and Secretary, Temidayo Adu, the NUJ described Ajibola as a seasoned media professional whose extensive experience and commitment to excellence have distinguished her in the competitive broadcast sector.
The Council particularly commended her managerial ability and record of repositioning broadcast stations and improving their visibility.
According to the NUJ, Ajibola’s capacity to provide strategic leadership, motivate staff and promote innovative programming has contributed significantly to the growth and prominence of stations she has managed.
The Council expressed confidence that she would deploy her experience, creativity and leadership skills effectively in her new role at Champion 90.7 FM.
It said her appointment would enable her to further strengthen the station’s relevance and contribute to its growth within Nigeria’s evolving media landscape.
The NUJ Oyo State Council wished Ajibola a successful tenure, expressing hope that her new responsibility would provide further opportunities for her to contribute to the development of broadcasting and journalism.
