Popular Nigerian content creator, Peller, has escaped what could have been a devastating fire incident after his newly acquired generator caught fire in the early hours of Saturday.

The TikTok personality disclosed the development in a video shared on his Instagram page, showing flames engulfing the generator while frantic efforts were made to contain the blaze. The fire was eventually extinguished using buckets of water after what he described as over 30 minutes of struggle.

Although the generator was completely destroyed, no casualties were recorded, and the building was not affected.

In the footage, Peller appeared visibly shaken as he called for assistance to put out the fire. Captioning the video, he wrote: “This happen early this morning, my new generator almost burn down my new house, but God saved us, it take us over 30 minutes to off the fire, All I can say is God saved us.”

Fans and followers flooded the comment section with messages of relief and gratitude, attributing the positive outcome to swift intervention and divine protection.

The incident comes shortly after another scare involving the influencer on the Lekki-Epe Expressway, where he reportedly crashed his vehicle during a livestream session. He was unharmed in that episode as well.

The latest development has once again raised safety concerns around the use of generators in residential areas, particularly in densely populated communities where fire outbreaks can escalate rapidly if not quickly contained.
