Candidates seeking admission into Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, for the 2026/2027 academic session can now check their individual Post-UTME screening schedules on the university’s admission portal.
The university had announced that candidates who successfully completed the Post-UTME registration process would be able to access their assigned screening dates and times from Wednesday, September 16, 2026.
According to an official notice published by OAU, the physical Post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (Post-UTME) screening exercise will hold from Friday, September 25 to Wednesday, September 30, 2026.
Candidates are required to log into the university’s admission portal using their JAMB Registration Number as the username and the password created during registration to view their individual screening details.
The notice stated that candidates can check their OAU Post-UTME screening schedule through the university’s official admission portal.
It also made it mandatory for candidates to appear physically for the screening exercise and to take note of the date and time assigned to them through the portal.
OAU further extended the deadline for completion of Post-UTME registration to Wednesday, September 23, 2026.
The university had initially scheduled the screening exercise for September 1–5 but subsequently announced a change in the dates, moving the exercise to September 25–30.
OAU said its official website and official social media channels remain the only authentic sources of information concerning the 2026/2027 Post-UTME screening exercise.
Candidates have therefore been advised to rely on information published through the university’s official channels and avoid unauthorised admission agents.
The university also provided an official email address, [email protected], for enquiries relating to the screening exercise.
Candidates can also consult the university’s official Post-UTME screening guidelines for information on the requirements and procedures for the exercise.
The development means prospective students who completed their registration should now confirm their individual examination details ahead of the September 25 commencement of the screening exercise.
