Nollywood veteran Jide Kosoko has paid an emotional tribute to his late wife, Henrietta Kosoko, as the family marks the 10th anniversary of her death.
The actor took to Instagram on Saturday to remember Henrietta, describing her as a pillar of love, strength and grace to him and their children during her lifetime.
Sharing a photo of the late actress, Kosoko reflected on the years since her passing and expressed gratitude that their children were thriving.
According to him, he believes Henrietta is smiling from heaven as she watches over the family.
“Today marks 10 years since my beloved wife, Henrietta Emumejiapkor Kosoko, returned to her Creators. She was love, grace, and strength to our children and me. Her children are doing great, and I know she’s smiling from above,” he wrote.
The veteran actor also prayed for the peaceful repose of her soul while expressing how much the family still misses her.
“May God grant her Peace yonder. We miss you, Rita Omo Odudukudu. Continue to rest in peace, Iya Ibeji,” he added.
Henrietta Kosoko, popularly known in the entertainment industry as Rita Omo Odudukudu and Iya Ibeji, died in 2016.
She was widely recognised for her roles in Nollywood productions and remained a familiar face among Yoruba movie audiences.
Her death was widely mourned within the Nigerian film industry and among fans across the country.
